Goodwill Industries of South Florida helps individuals find jobs, improve their interpersonal and professional skills, and strengthen communities through selling donated goods at affordable prices. A key factor in receiving donations is the trailer fleet located at donation sites to accept the donated goods. Goodwill approached our team for help in updating graphics for their entire trailer fleet.
GOODWILL INDUSTRIES
Refreshed and Unified the Fleet of Trailers Without Interrupting Business Services
The Challenge
The Goodwill trailers are vital to the support of their business and mission. At Admark Graphics, we knew the importance of tracking and refreshing each trailer without interrupting the services they provide to the surrounding communities. We were presented with the challenge of tracking down each individual trailer located all over South Florida to take measurements needed to produce graphics to accurately fit each unit. Goodwill’s website, advertising, and social media had uniform branding, but their trailers were outdated and needed a refresh to match the rest of the brand. A lot of the trailers had fading decals and we set out to make them appear maintained and inviting.

How We Did It
Acting Fast
After Goodwill provided our team with their new artwork, we scheduled the rebrand into segments to decrease the time each trailer was out of service. This enabled us to get the trailers back in each community quickly. This process entailed completing trailers in phases of around 10-15 units at a time.
Working Hard
During each phase, our Application team would work around the clock to ensure each deadline was met. To avoid traffic, Goodwill would swap out completed trailers at night to cut down on transit times and keep the work flowing.
Planning Ahead
It was a team effort between Goodwill’s Fleet Manager, Admark’s Application Manager, and our sales executive to execute a working plan for the arrival and departure of each unit to the installation site. Planning ahead in phases allows for a seamless execution to cut down on time loss and business disruption.
After Admark
Our efforts helped to visually strengthen the unified brand Goodwill has implemented across multiple platforms (website, social media, marketing efforts) to attract not only volunteers and donations but to market the services they provide. The bright and welcoming design on the trailers resonates with the South Florida community. We were successfully able to complete removal and installation phases without a major disruption to their donation process. This is credited to the advanced planning and scheduling needed to complete this scale of project based on the needs of our customer.
