As a Unifi partner for over 20 years, we were approached to help transform their fleet of tankers.
Admark had the vision to help Unifi turn their tanker into a realistic moving 3-D water bottle. The design was ambitious, as putting any sort of full coverage graphics on a tanker is a large task due to the scale and curvature of the body as well as hardware interfering with the design.
With the measurements at the forefront, Unifi’s creative team developed their dream design. Our specialists studied the tanker layout to determine the best method to produce the graphics.
Application technique and experience is a major factor in the success of a full coverage tanker wrap. Without prior experience, there is greater potential for material failure due to incorrect installation methods. With careful consideration, our team at Admark designated the proper material used to achieve the desired completed look.
The water bottle portion is emphasized with a gloss shine to emulate a real water bottle and the black is matte to make the Unifi logos stand out. We put a reflective logo on the rear of the tanker to increase driver safety in the dark. Throughout the project, there was a large focus on precise application to ensure that Unifi’s design would be long-lasting and durable.
These tankers are impossible to miss driving down the road! The realistic design is one of our most unique and enjoyable projects. Since the wrapping of the tankers, Unifi saw a large spark of interest from other drivers, as the search rank rose for Unifi and Repreve.
